The Girls Tournament volunteer sign is available:
For those of you new to OBA, remember you gave us a check for $100. If you volunteer to work, we will shred your check. If you don’t then your contribution will fund our operating budget.
**If you know now that you are willing to forfeit your deposit, please let me know as it will help plan the number of working shifts we need.
All of the shifts will likely be filled up by Thursday noon. Don't panic if you did not get signed up for the girls tournament and don't know what to do. There are only 53 shifts available to work the girls tournament. Once the Boys brackets are finished in a couple weeks, we will create another signup to work the Boys Tournament.
Please try to work the weekend or day your child is not playing. This gives everyone the best opportunity to not have to work while their child is playing. There are many more boys families, so some will have to work the Boys tournament, simply choose the day your son is not playing.
When you access the site, you will be presented with a list of “slots” for which you can sign up. The slots are listed by date, location, time and then job title. New this year is a Scoreboard opportunity. Our OHS Girl Basketball players that normally work the scoreboard need to depart for a game in Rochester. While we can train you for this, previous knowledge will help remove anxiety for you. It is a simple task especially since our games are running time.
To sign up for a slot:
Optional, you can choose to create an account at SignUpGenius if you need to make a change. This can be a nice benefit if you need to find a different slot or swap with another family.
Things to keep in mind while signing up (IMPORTANT):
